Enjoy a visit to the Arts Grill, which serves modern bistro food in stylish, contemporary surroundings. The Arts Menu changes seasonally and offers a range of tasty steaks and meals. The comprehensive wine list offers a selection of wines from all over the world to complement your meal. A children’s menu is also available.

The Lounge Menu offers a selection of pastries, snacks and light dishes, from spicy nachos to warm goat’s cheese salad.

The hotel has 213 comfortable and contemporary rooms, each of which is attractive and well appointed, with all the comforts and facilities that you would expect in a 4-star hotel. Yet it is in the attention to detail and in the little touches that the hotel’s quality really shines through. All rooms feature anti-allergenic pillows, an anti-steam bathroom mirror, 2 direct dial telephones, a full-length mirror and a sophisticated Philips TV with radio and broadband internet access. Every room includes complimentary biscuits, hot chocolate and Highland Spring mineral water.

The hotel has 8 rooms that are suitable for disabled guests, wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility.

Double and twin room types have a maximum occupancy of 2 people, unless otherwise stated.

Everyone was friendly and helpful and the hotel was wonderfully warm

The queue for breakfast. We missed it because we were earlier but I felt sorry for several people on Saturday November 29th who waited in line for breakfast when it seemed there were plenty of empty tables

Room is very dark and depressed. The feeling of the whole room, especially the shower room decoration looks like going back to 80s even 70s in last century and this is not good enough to keep the customer having a good living mood inside as well as being charged the unbelievable high level room rate, say 150 pounds. If you are really willing to accept customer feedback, this is absolutely helpful.

The staff were very friendly. Considering the hotel was very busy the breakfast arrangements worked quite well with plenty of choice of hot & cold dishes which were regularly topped up although they did run out of glasses/plates for a short time.

The bar prices were expensive to the extreme and put us off wanting to have a second drink & we did not visit the bar again during our stay.

Car parking in the basement was available

The room was extreamly small, the staff characterless and the speed of service particularly at breakfast when the dining room was nearly empty was very laboured
