A new hotel in an old place, we are in the middle of the picturesque village of Nes and only 10 to 15 minutes from the beach by foot.

The hotel has 34 comfortable rooms with a French balcony or a terrace. Furthermore, there is a sunny garden, plenty of parking space and bicycle rental next to the hotel.

This is a very pleasant area with shops, restaurants and bars around the corner.

The hotel is located on the beautiful Island of Ameland, in the middle of the village Nes and within walking distance of the beach. The interior of the hotel is contemporary and has a charming ambience. The hotel also has a beautifully decorated sunny garden and spacious car park.

Food & beverage

Hotel Zeewinde only serve breakfast and a drink in the hotel bar. However there are many restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel. You can find menus and maps for the restaurants in the hotel lobby or you can ask one of the staff to inform you about the menus in the restaurants.

Area information

In the surrounding area, you can enjoy beautiful nature reserves and of course the beautiful sandy beaches.

90 km of cycle paths meander through a varied landscape, allowing you to choose a different route each day without retracing your tyre tracks . For those who prefer to wander, there are planned walks that take you through some of the island’s most beautiful spots.

Outdoor activities available include horse riding, sailing, fishing, golf, tennis and making parachute jump can be experienced to the full on Ameland. Ameland has much to offer for both active holidaymakers and those in search of peace and quiet!

The island's picturesque towns of Nes,Hollum and Ballum all have many nice shops and pleasant restaurants.

Good breakfast for reasonable price, large and clean room, large bed, quiet location and clean bathroom with tub/shower

Our friends stayed on the ground floor and told us that they heard noises from the family room above them

The (family) room was on two levels, which we liked, with a pleasant outlook and good facilities that included a fridge and coffee maker. The public areas of the hotel were pleasant and it was well situated in the town.

Our noisy neighbours in the next room; the walls between us seemed very thin- though that is a chance you take in any hotel. Bicycle storage facilities were limited and not secure.

Nice staff, spacious, clean room with comfortable bed, good breakfast buffet and nice surroundings. They also have very nice sculptures in and around the hotel.

als er dan toch een senseo apparaat staat , waarom dan vier pads moeten halen en betalen. Leg er gewoon een paar neer.

Vriendelijk personeel, grappig dat je bij het auto ook een auto kon huren (geen gebruik van gemaakt).Ook dat je er een paraplu kunt lenen bij slecht weer.

Schoon, rustig, geen honden, niet roken, senseo-koffie apparaat op kamer.

miste een beveiligde kierstand van het kleine raam om 's nachts open te kunnen zetten. (hoewel ik me er niet onveilig heb gevoeld, maar voor het gevoel zou het toch fijn zijn een raampje kunnen open zetten zonder dat iemand er doorheen kan)
