Located on the most beautiful of the Wadden Islands – Ameland – tucked in the heart of a peaceful village, is a charming hotel with a well reputed cafe.

Nominated best cafe of Holland by the trade magazine Misset in 2007 and popular amongst locals and visitors alike since 1902, the cafe’s relaxed atmosphere and genuine hospitality are top-notch. Combining modern and elegant flairs with a classical French menu, the restaurant is an equally inviting place to dine.

Located directly next to the hotel, our wine farm organizes wine tasting sessions on a regular basis. Made and sold on the island, Ameland is also home to the famous liquor Nobeltje. After a day of exploring the many sides of this beautiful island, retreat to the comfort of your spacious room and enjoy the luxuries available to you.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Het hele verblijf was prima in orde, we hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad!

Het ontbijt was prima, alleen klein detail, de eieren waren koud bij het ontbijt buffet.

Kwaliteit van de keuken viel iets tegen! (Wij stellen wel hoge eisen!) Culinaire reputatie was reden van hotelkeuze.

Goede service, prachtige kamer, prettige bedden, schone badkamer en een rustig hotel

De stop van de jacuzzy was kapot waardoor wij geen gebruik van het bad konden maken. Juist vanwege het bad is de kamerprijs hoger. Dit is aangegeven bij de frontdesk maar niet meegenomen in de berekening

Personeel was erg behulpzaam en flexibel. Uitstekend ontbijt.

De bedden zijn niet voor iedereen prettig (maar dit is ook lastig, dat weet ik).

heel vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel. Wij hadden een B-kamer geboekt en kregen een C-kamer, dus nog groter en met een whirlpool. Het bijbehorende restaurant is ook uitstekend.

de warmte in de slaapkamer en de kleine raampjes zonder hor. Dus de warmte bleef erg hangen en je had ´s nachts last van muggen.

-bubbelbad maakt erg veel lawaai en personeel is onder het ontbijten druk aan het schoonmaken (=storend)
